I love you too broad bean, and I too hate the double peeling! I actually left the skin on a couple of tiny ones this week, thinking it wouldn't make a difference. But it did, bleargh.
I thought using frozen broad beans would be easier, but you still need to peel them. I don't mind, though, as long as the juice doesn't squirt in your eye ;(
Hehe the boy bought broad beans because he wanted to try them, after having to peel them twice we thought… screw that there's other vegetables to be tried! =D

That would look grand framed:)
I actually find the peeling strangely therapeutic! Yeah, I'm a weirdo, I know.
Great photograph! The mug you displayed the beans in is just beautiful…there is so much character!
This is really beautiful Anh! You really captured the essence of the subject in this pic!
that photo is amazing!! Broadbeans are annoying
Love the photo. But poor me…haven't tried this bean yet. Will have to look out for it.
Lovely photo Ann!
Broadbeans are annoying but delicious.
Just gorgeous. I love the retro feel!
Confession!
we use these fava beans a lot in lebanese cooking and sometimes I dont bother with double peeling!
Wow, forget about the beans… this photo looks like an oil painting! I am bewitched.

Nice touch! Another beautiful shot…
Yeah, something good that needs so much effort to eat.
Anh, this is really pretty. Haha. But sadly it's pretty expensive here in Perth though
I like to think of the double-peeling as meditation…but yes, they're a pain!
Totally agree with you that it's so hard to peel! Love your photos and styling! They are always stunning.
I loved your blog and the photos too!
I love that rustic cup!!!
