B&W wednesday #4 - Woodgrain

>> Thursday, August 04, 2011

It's all about wooden props today. I certainly enjoy exploring the idea of creating aged B&W photos via photo editing tools... B&W seems to bring out the texture of these props, which i love.

B&W wednesday is a culinary photo event hosted by Susan of the Well-seasoned Cook.

The scratchy, vintage-y look is perfect with the wooden bowls.

Hello Anh . Have been reading your blog for a while and just realized we are in the same city. Lovely photos, remind me about Vietnam back in the old day! Black and white and everything was very simple and nice!

Great photos Anh. I've only recently started exploring B&W and found that it can work so well. I find it works best on wide angle scenery, preferably industrial buildings etc. I think it works well on potraits too. What do you reckon it works best on?

gorgeous photo, anh! love the way you've layered your props and added depth!
